Should we use templates for signatures? I propose that we shouldn't use templates for signatures.
Support - If A LOT of people use templates for signature, then people might have a hard time finding templates. Also, if people make a template for a signature "cough cough" Dunn's signature "cough cough". 01:55, October 30, 2010 (UTC)
Support - provided they are located in user namespace (preferably under _that_ user's name) this keeps pagecount real and provides an outlet for exubrient users. additionally it cuts down on source jargon as illustrated by RC above. plus i made mine before finding this forum as its in my prefs for wikia. 20:41, March 12, 2011 (UTC)
- Why shouldn't we? I think it should be optional. Many signatures are quite long and it would be simpler and better looking if they had it in a template. Take my signature on the Call of Duty wiki for example, without the template it would look like this:

- My signature isn't that long ,'''''<span style="border-color:gray; border-style:solid; border-width:1px;">[[User:Registered contributor|<font color="red">ŖЁĠͧŤ3ŔΣĎ ₵ΘИ†®|฿ŪŢÖṜ</font>]][[User_Talk:Registered contributor|<font color="green">Hi</font>]]</span>''''' 01:59, October 30, 2010 (UTC)
